Mobile Home Lenders

Good Afternoon,

When you purchase a new mobile/manufactured home the sales companies use several lenders (that I know-if there is more I would like to know the names) to finance a land and home package.

These are the lenders that I have dealt with:  Cascade Financial Services, E-lend, Triad Financial Services, 21st Mortgage and Vanderbilt Mortgage.

There are lenders who will finance a resale of a double wide mobile/manufactured home.  All of the above mentioned will lend on resale homes.. however very few lenders will lend on a single wide resale.

If you are thinking of selling a single wide, have your realtor check for a lender that can do the loan.  If a buyer has no idea who to use, then your realtor can suggest a lender.

A few of the mobile/manufactured home companies have a salesperson that is also a licensed agent and can find land for the home.  Those that dont usually have a realter that they refer the buyer to.  That realtor will only write a real estate contract for the land.

Normally lenders can do FHA, Conventional, VA loans.  There are a select few that can do a USDA loan on a mobile/manufactured with land.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.  Ill be glad to answer any questions and assist you if I can.
